Crisp Pizza

The line is always long on weekends (for good reason), so definitely go earlier — they sometimes run out of dough because it’s that popular. The pepperoni comes with a halal option. Last time we went, we ordered the hot honey pepperoni pizzas — I forget the exact name, but they were absolutely insane. Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve had in London. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ve heard they might be opening in Mayfair soon not sure

Overall: Food: Pizza A lot of hype and the reality is it’s good pizza. Very good in fact but certainly not the best as a lot of people are waxing lyrical about. Crisp is currently riding the wave but the testament will be to see how it weathers a move to Mayfair where they’re going to be hit with a high rent (v Grandma’s zero rent pub in Hammersmith), rates, partners wanting a slice and then the proportionate hard work and profit all whilst maintaining standards. It’s a tough job ahead and I genuinely wish them well. The pizzas were crisp but the crust just crumbled and I have had many good pizzas with a crispy yet really tasty crust. Crisp didn’t deliver on that front. Be careful guys - don’t become a victim of your own success. Bigger and better known restaurants have failed. Look after your guests and you’ll do ok. What I liked: • Not at all bad pizzas but as I wrote above not the best in town by far. • Reasonably short menu which was good • Decent size pizzas and fair price point What I didn’t like: • Took way too long for the food to be served. • Crusts were wasted as they just crumbled • Slap dash service. Not once did anyone apologise about the wait nor check on us whilst eating. Do I recommend going? YES Will I go again? YES Was it good value? YES Price Point: $$

A popular hotspot for pizza in London, this place truly delivered on flavor. The pizza was fabulous and perfectly crisp, thin crust and bold, well balanced toppings. The service was decent, though the seating area was quite cramped and could have been cleaner. Note that they stop seating walk ins after 4:00 p.m., so plan accordingly. So we did not get in the first day. We got in on the second time and waited about 15 minutes outside. Luckily the weather was dry. On the upside, they offer draft beer, and it was the first place in London where we were actually able to get a fountain soda with ice. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving quality pizza.
